Exhaust Adapter Installation
Install the adapter and exhaust pipe into the
exhaust housing.
From the bottom of the exhaust housing, align the
water tube into the large opening. Then push it
rearward to install it into the casting.
Carefully install the foam gasket onto the adapter.
Next install the muffler and hose from the exhaust
pipe. Secure the muffler hose to the exhaust pipe
with a new Oetiker clamp. Then install the two
hoses onto the hose fittings. Secure with tie
straps.
Install the two adapter screws. Tighten to a torque
of 22 to 24 Ft. lbs. (30 to 32 N·m).
