Bearing Installation
Oil, then install new bearings in bearing housing.
Place the lettered end of the bearing case on the
bearing installer, then press the bearing into the
housing until the tool seats. When installed, the
lettered end of the bearing should be visible.
Standard Rotation Housing
Bearing Installation Tools:
• P/N 358167 – front bearing
• P/N 358168 – rear bearing
Counter Rotation housing
Bearing Installation Tool:
• P/N 432401 – front bearing
• P/N 358168 – rear bearing
Rear Bearing Retaining Ring Installation -
Late Models Only
Install one end of the retaining ring into its retain-
ing groove. Use a punch to work the retaining ring
into the groove.
