Shifter, Bearing and Seal Servicing
Push the pin out of the clutch dog. Remove all
parts.
IMPORTANT: The shift housing supports the re-
verse gear on counter rotation gearcases.
Remove the shift lever pin from the housing.
Remove the magnet, shift shaft, cradle and shift
lever. Move shifter detent as needed to help ease
removal of parts.

NOTICE
Discard the shift cradle and shift lever. New
parts MUST be used during installation.
During removal the shift lever will bend and
the cradle will crack and could break.
Even if parts appear to be in good condition,
re-use will result in failure in a short period of
time.
