The EMM monitors the TPS connections and volt-
ages on the remote control network.
If communication from co-processor to processor
is lost for more than 250 milliseconds, the EMM:
If co-processor safety messages are not being
received, or if co-processor cannot disable driver,
the EMM:
The EMM monitors the TPS voltage. If TPS A volt-
age is less than 0.17 V, the EMM:
If TPS A voltage is greater than 4.92 V, the EMM:
If TPS B voltage is less than 0.07 V, the EMM:
If TPS B voltage is greater than 4.82 V, the EMM:
If TPS correlated voltages are out of range, the
EMM:
If TPS A voltage is outside of 0.25 V to 1.47 V or
TPS B voltage is outside 3.53 V to 4.75 V at key
on, the TPS is out of idle range. The EMM:
If signal from TPS A and TPS B are lost, the
EMM:
If sensor reference voltage is fluctuating, but a
sensor fault is NOT detected, the EMM:
The EMM monitors remote control lever position
for out of range values. If the communication mes-
sage values are greater than 1000 or less than
65535, the EMM:
The EMM monitors the ETC motor circuit. If the
EMM detects the ETC circuit is OPEN, the EMM:
If the EMM detects excessive current draw, the
EMM:
The EMM monitors the throttle plate position. The
throttle plate position is compared to the com-
manded position. If the difference is greater than
7% while the commanded position is not chang-
ing, the EMM:
