Table 8.4: Error message code
Importance level Description
S (Static fatal error, non-
resettable)
R (Resettable static fatal
error)
Messages of the importance levels S and R indicate a
static fatal error which prevents a measurement from
being executed, or cancels a running measurement.
In this case, the OPUS status light is red and an error
message is displayed in OPUS.
The error remains until the problem has been solved or
the unit causing the error is no longer selected (e.g.
instead of a detector which is not cooled down to oper
-
ating temperature, another detector has been selected).
