ABP Absolute Peak
Position:
Enter the desired absolute peak position manually in the
corresponding entry field. This position determines the
default scanning position of the interferometer.
For double-sided data acquisition, the scanner moves
around this position. This command is used to set the peak
position which is displayed on the Check Signal tab of the
Measurement dialog.
Sending a positive value saves the absolute peak position
permanently.
Sending a negative value sets the absolute peak position
only temporarily, i.e. the peak position is not saved. After
restarting the spectrometer, the permanently saved value
is used.
Sending the ABP=0 command uses the peak position
value of the last measurement. This value is saved per
-
manently.
Sending the ABP=-1 command restores the saved peak
position. This command cancels the temporarily peak
position that has been set by sending a negative value.
For additional information see Additional information on
ABP Absolute Peak Position.
