ABP Absolute Peak
Position:
Enter the desired absolute peak position manually in the
corresponding entry field. This position determines the
default scanning position of the interferometer.
For double-sided data acquisition, the scanner moves
around this position. This command is used to set the peak
position which is displayed on the Check Signal tab of the
Measurement dialog.
• Sending a positive value saves the absolute peak position
permanently.
• Sending a negative value sets the absolute peak position
only temporarily, i.e. the peak position is not saved. After
restarting the spectrometer, the permanently saved value
is used.
• Sending the ABP=0 command uses the peak position
value of the last measurement. This value is saved per
-
manently.
• Sending the ABP=-1 command restores the saved peak
position. This command cancels the temporarily peak
position that has been set by sending a negative value.
