The HEST lamp lights up when the exhaust gas temperature
is increased due to particulate filter regeneration.
This is a normal process and does not indicate a fault.

When this lamp lights up, make sure that the exhaust
pipe is not pointing at flammable materials or surfaces!

Error message
(yellow)
Indicates that there is a drive engine fault. Depending on the
type of fault, the vehicle can temporarily continue to be operat-
ed or, in the case of serious faults, should be shut down imme-
diately to prevent further damage from occurring.
Each fault should be rectified as soon as possible!

The error code can be called up using the switch
"Call up error / malfunction".

Lights up for a few seconds once the ignition has been
switched on for checking purposes.

Lights up when the oil pressure is too low.
