4 Offsetting the screed
Depending on the paving condition re-
quirements, the crossbeam can be
moved backwards or forwards.
This adjustment enlarges the material
space between the auger and screed.
- Loosen the four mounting screws (1).
- Remove the screws and move the ve-
hicle forwards.
- The crossbeam remains in its position
on slide rails: now tighten the screws
(1) back down.

When paving thin layers, the material
can "settle" in front of the screed if the
screed is set to the rear position. When
paving thick layers, the screed then climbs better.
