Impurities or crystals of AdBlue® / DEF
on the outside and inside of the tank cov-
er can considerably interfere with the
system!

If the tank cover is visibly soiled, it must
be cleaned as follows.
- Loosen the retaining tab (A) and un-
screw the tank cover (B) from the tank.
- Put the cover in a vessel filled with wa-
ter so that the water comes up to half
the height of the blue edge (large di-
ameter).
Leave the cap to soak for about
five minutes.

Make sure that the cover is not com-
pletely covered with water as this inter-
feres with the ventilation function.
- Shake the cap to let any residual water
drain out.
