28.9 Expected Steering Performance Under Critical
Failure
Below is a summary of system behavior in various failures when Program Track, Goto Waypoint or Goto track
steering mode is in use.
Note: Backup navigator alarm is activated if alarm is not acknowledged within 30 seconds. For more information
about this alarm, see section 31.7 "Description of Backup Navigator Alarm".
28.9.1 Lost heading from Autopilot FAP-2000 (ECDIS may also have
lost heading)
