 For an Ethernet port, the link-delay command cannot take effect on ports that are manually
disabled using the shutdown command.
 It is recommended that you do not use this command on ports that are not enabled with RRPP,
SMTP, or Smart Link.

# Set the down suppression time of the physical connection of an Ethernet port to 8 seconds.

Parameters
delay-time: Link up suppression time, in seconds. The value range is 0 to 30. By default the value is 0.
mode up: Specifies the state change suppression mode as up.
Description
Use the link-delay delay-time mode up command to configure the up suppression time of
physical-link-down-state changes on the current port.
Use the undo link-delay command to restore the default.
Disabled by default.
 The link-delay mode up and link-delay commands supersede each other.
