2.7.2 Executing the Test
Execute the test with the specimen for obtaining the correction value.
Testing can be performed continuously.

Whenoperatingthespecimenstage,donotputyourhandsorngersundertheindenter.Theymaybecome
pinched.

Slowly turn the up/down handle clockwise until the automatic brake engages and the up/down
handleisxed.

Whentheup/downhandleentersthexedposition,removeyourhandfromtheup/downhandle.

The background color of the hardness value is yellow when you are performing a test to obtain the correction
value.
