Product Storage
Store the testing machine and the hardness test block using the procedures below for daily
storage and when not using for prolonged periods.
■Main unit of the testing machine
y Disconnect the cables from the outlet and cover the testing machine for dustproof.
y Store the testing machine from -10 °C through 50 °C (humidity: 5 % through 90 % non-condensa-
tion).
NOTICE
Use caution so that the testing machine does not rust.
Tips
A cover is included as a standard accessory for storing the testing machine. Check the size to use for your
testing machine.
■Hardness test block
y Always keep the surface of the hardness test block clean.
y If the surface of the hardness test block becomes dirty, wipe it with a cloth dampened in alcohol or
a similar cleaning solution.
NOTICE
• Do not touch the surface of the hardness test block directly with your hands because it causes rusting.
• Wrap the hardness test block in the accessory rustproof paper and place it in the accessory box for storage.
Do not use rustproof materials such as oils or powders because these materials become dirty easily.
