System Conditions
Set the system conditions.
The setup screen for system conditions is displayed by touching the [System] tab on "condi-
tion setup" tab block.
[Guide], [Test Method], [Display], [Equipment], [System], and [Settings] are shown at the bot-
tom of the screen.
The [Test Method] screen is displayed right after this screen is displayed.

Guide
This function derives the relationship between the minimum thickness and hardness of the specimen
duringRockwellhardnesstestandRockwellsupercialhardnesstest.
To derive the minimum thickness, touch the [Min. thick.] button in [Targ. Value] to activate it. When the
[Hardness] button in [Input Item] is touched and hardness is input, the minimum thickness is derived.
To derive the hardness, touch the [Hardness] button of [Targ. Value] to activate. When [Min. thick.] in
[Input Item] is touched and minimum thickness is input, the hardness is derived.

• UsableonlyintheRockwellhardnesstestandRockwellsupercialhardnesstest.
• The relationship of applicable ranges is calculated from the graphs of JIS Z 2245 Annex B or ISO 6508-1
