2.3.2 User Correction
The two types of user correction available are multi-point correction and shift correction.
The user correction switches between [ON] (enabled) and [OFF] (disabled) each time the button is
touched.

[Multi.] button Performs correction based on the reference value and test value for
each hardness value through a quadratic equation.

[Shift] button Performs correction by adding the value set for the test value.
■Multi-point correction
Multi-pointcorrectionrequiresthreeormoretestblockswithdi󰀨erenthardnesses(knownhardness
values). Setting up the results of tests using test blocks with three or more types (maximum of 20 types)
enables multi-point correction.
Tips
Multi-point correction can only be set for Rockwell hardness tests.
If multi-point correction is not selected, touch the [Multi.] button.
