Hardness value Displays the average of the test results.

Scale Displays the scale that is currently set (indenter/test force).
To change the test method, see "5.2 Test Method" (page G-50).
To change the scale, see "2.1 Scale" (page G-13).

Previous test results Displays the previous test results.
Previous test results not displayed on the home screen can be con-
rmedontheresultsscreen.
The order in which to display previous test results varies according to
the group settings.
y If the group settings are OFF:
Previous test results are displayed with the most recent test dis-
played at the top followed by the second, third, and so on.
y If the group settings are ON (in case of seven tests):
Previous test results are displayed with the seventh point of a
groupdisplayedatthetopfollowedbythesixth,fth,andsoon.

Dispersion Displays the dispersion (R = Max. – Min.) for the results displayed on
thescreen(uptovetests)orforonegroup.

[Continuous] button Touching the [Continuous] button activates the display and enables
testing. For details, see "5 Executing Continuous Tests" (page
C-37) in "PART C Rockwell Hardness Test, Plastic Hardness Test
(ISO2039-2)".

[Run] button When continuous testing is enabled, this button can be used for sub-
sequent points. Touch the [Run] button to start a test.

Clear button Touch this button to delete the most recent test result (No. 5) dis-
played in the previous test results.

Data delete button Deletes the hardness value displayed on the home screen.
: Deletes the results displayed on the screen (up
tovetests)ortheresultsforonegroup.
: Touch a previous test result to select it.
Touch this button to delete the test result that is selected.
