8.3.2 SLOT WIDTH LIMITATION

For mortising which does not go through the workpiece, adjust the depth of the stroke, as already indicated, and
the transversal stroke of the table (X-axis):
- using a pencil, mark the position of the mortise to be cut on the workpiece (1 fig. 8.3-2).
- Test the transversal stroke using lever (D fig. 8.3-2) according to the mortise to be cut and adjust the side
stops to suit, by tightening the knobs (E fig. 8.3-2).
NOTE-INFORMATION:
to carry out slots, it is necessary to drill a row of holes, then, moving the table by means of the
lever (D fig. 8.3-2), the inside of the slot is thoroughly cleaned.
