Interfaces/connectors
The HXGS3 and HXGR3 boards provide the following connectors:
● X1: 50-pin connector (edge connector) to the system
● X2: 8-pin RJ45 jack for LAN interface 1
● X3: 8-pin RJ45 jack for LAN interface 2
Both LAN interfaces allow access to the Ethernet standard (IEEE 802.3) with 10 Mbps or
100 Mbps with automatic configuration. Manual configuration is also possible.
● X4: 9-pin Sub-D plug for V.24 interface

Caution
It is absolutely necessary to use a shielded Ethernet cable for LAN interfaces/
ports of the HXGS3 board.
