TheEK80operatesonACpowerfromthevessel’smainssupply.BeforeyoucanapplyAC
powerupanyEK80unit,youmustverifythepoweriscorrect.
Prerequisites
•AllEK80hardwareunitshavebeeninstalledaccordingtotherelevantinstructions.
•Allsystemcableshavebeeninstalled.
•Allconnectionshavebeenmade.
•Alloperatingpowerisavailable.
•Allrelevantpersonnel(shipselectrician)andtools(forexampleavoltmeter)areavailable.
Procedure
1ForeachEK80unitthatoperatesonACmains:
aVerifythattheunitisconnectedtoACmains.
bMeasurethevoltageandthefrequencyinthepoweroutlet,andmakesurethatthe
relevantEK80unitcanoperateonthispower.
cVerifythatthecircuitbreakeronthepowercircuitcanhandletheloadwhenthe
EK80ispoweredup.
