Unit,youwillseethatthedefaultscreenresolutiononthecomputerhasbeensetto1280x
1024pixels.Werecommendthatyouuseahigherresolutionthanthis.

thatyouarefamiliarwiththisoperating
system.
Context
Asageneralrecommendation,youshould
setthescreenresolutionashighaspossible.
Thiswillallowyoumore"space"inthe
EK80presentationtooffermoredetailed
information.Thephysicallengthofyourtop
barwillalsobeextended,andfreespacefor
iconsandnavigationalinformation.
AslongasyoudonotchangetheProcessor
Unittoanothercomputer,replacethegraphic
adapterinyourProcessorUnitorthephysicaldisplay,youwillonlyneedtodothisonce.
Procedure
1OntheProcessorUnit,stoptheEK80program.
2Inthebottomleftcornerofyourcomputerdesktop,clicktheStartbutton.
3OntherightsideoftheStartmenu,clickControlPanel.
4ObservethattheControlPanelopens.
5IntheControlPaneldialogbox,underAppearanceandPersonalization,clickAdjust
screenresolution.
6Changethedisplaysettings:
aVerifythatthecorrectdisplayisshown.
bChangetheresolutiontomaximumpermittedresolutionforyourdisplay.
cClickOK.
dObservethatthescreenresolutionchanges.
eClickKeepchangesintheacknowledgedialogboxthatappears.
7Clickthe[X]inthetoprightcornertoclosetheControlPanel.
