Priortoinstallationoruse,mechanicalunitsmustbeunpackedfromtheirtransportboxes.It
isimportantthatthisunpackingisdonewithoutinictingdamagetotheequipment.
Prerequisites
Observetheprocedureforunpackingofstandardpartsandunits.
Context
Mechanicalandelectromechanicalunitsmaybeheavy.
Atransducermustalwaysbehandledasadelicateitem.Wrongfulactionsmaydamagethe
transducerbeyondrepair.
Observethesetransducerhandlingrules:
•Donotactivatethetransducerwhenitisoutofthewater.
•Donotliftthetransducerbythecable.
•Donotsteponthetransducercable.
•Donothandlethetransducerroughly,avoidimpacts.
•Donotexposethetransducertodirectsunlightorexcessiveheat.
•Donotusehighpressurewater,sandblasting,metaltoolsorstrongsolventstoclean
thetransducerface.
Procedure
1Obtainthenecessaryliftingequipment,andmakesurethattheequipmentiscertied
fortheweight.
2Lifttheunitoutofthetransportationbox.
3Placeitinastablepositionontheoor/workbench.
4Inspecttheunitforvisualdamage.
5Removeanypackingmaterialthatmaybeinsidetheunit.
6Collectandkeeptherelevantusermanualsand/ordocumentsprovidedwiththeunit.
