Prerequisites
Forcorrectandsafehandlingofprintedcircuitboardsandelectronicmodules,youwillneed
asuitableworkbenchwithanapprovedconductiveservicemat.Thisservicematmustbe
connecteddirectlytoareliableearthpointviaitsearthingcord.Y oumustwearawristband
indirectcontactwiththeskin,andthewristbandmustbeconnectedtotheservicemat.
Sensitiveprintedcircuitboardsandelectronicmodulesmustalwaysbetransportedand
storedinprotectiveantistaticpackingbags.Thecircuitboardsandmodulesmustnotbe
transportedorstoredclosetostrongelectrostatic,electromagneticorradioactiveelds.

Whenyouhandleelectroniccircuitboardsandmodules,youmustbewareofthedangersof
electrostaticdischarge(ESD),bothtoyourselfandtotheequipment.Inordertoensuresafe
transportandstorage,circuitboardsandotherelectronicunitswillalwaysbewrappedin
aclearplasticprotectivebag,andthebagwillbesealed.

Failuretofollowtheserulesmayresultinunserviceablecircuitboards.

youoriginallyreceiveditin-orinaprotectivebagofsimilarelectrostaticdischarge
(ESD)protectionquality.
