aredemagnetizedtoprotectyourequipment.Dependingonthetasksathand,additional
toolsmayberequired.

ThetransducerconnectorismountedonthesidepaneloftheWideBandTransceiver
(WBT).Thetransducerconnectorisacircularsocketwith12pinsidentiedasAthroughN.
TheWideBandTransceiver(WBT)usedbytheSimradEK80canbesetuptoworkwith
maximumfour-4-operationalfrequencies.Thismeansthatyoucanusefoursingle
frequency/singlebeamtransducers,twodualfrequencytransducers,oronesplitbeam
transducer.
InordertotakeadvantageoftheadvancedfunctionalityprovidedbytheEK80(size
distribution,shpositionandechoposition),itisnormallysetupwithsplitbeamtransducers.
ThismeansthatoneWideBandTransceiver(WBT)isrequiredforeachtransducer.
