2 1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Disconnect the ECM coupler. Refer to “ECM Removal
and Installation in Section 1C (Page 1C-1)”.
3) Check there is no continuity between the R wire “A” and
ground.
Also, the R wire “A” and another wire.

(A): 09900–25008 (Multi circuit tester set)

Is there no continuity?
Go to Step 3. Short circuit in the R
wire.
