When in HOLD
If SPD is managed, A/C maintains GD speed,
If NAV mode is engaged, A/C flies track as shown on ND,
− If DES mode is engaged rate of descent is adjusted at -1000 ft/mn,
unless an ALT CSTR to be respected.
Predictions are revised, taking hold into account and assuming it is
flown one time.
If HOLD parameters are modified
Modifications are not taken into account immediately but at the next fix
overfly.
In the example below A/C is flying a HOLD R at ADABI as shown on F-
PLN page. Left turn is selected on HOLD page but not yet taken into
account.
