the POS downlink message to the
ground
(*) symbol
Is blank in the following cases:
− FM A/C position is invalid,
− The AOC function is not enabled.
− The Position Report option is
inhibited within the AMI file,
− The FM is not able to
communicate with the ground
(although AOC function is
enabled)
− A POS report downlink is currently pending or processing (auto or
manual).
Pressing [5R] without (*) displayed will trigger NOT ALLOWED
scratchpad message (white).
