1.3. MESSAGE DELETION
Manual clear of messages
Any message that is displayed can be cleared by pressing the CLR key.
Automatic clear of messages
General conditions:
Type I messages are automatically cleared under the following
conditions:
− When data is entered into the scratchpad, or
− When line
select or page key is pressed.
Specific conditions:
Some Type II messages are automatically cleared from the queue
when they no longer apply.
At transition to DONE Phase:
Messages are cleared from the scratchpad and the message queue at
transition to DONE flight phase.
Other messages may be displayed during DONE phase if appropriate.
Messages, which are displayed on both scratchpad and PFD/ND are
cleared simultaneously when cleared from scratchpad, except for GPS
PRIMARY LOST.
