The machine should come to a complete stop with the neutral assist lever in the ON
position and the parking brake disengaged. The machine should not attempt to move
with the parking brake engaged. If the machine is attempting to move, there will be an
excessive amount of hydraulic pump noise, which indicates the pump is not in the
neutral position. If the machine attempts to move in either condition, adjust the neutral
position.
1. Remove any attachments from the machine.
2. Park the machine on a level surface, engage the parking brake and remove the
key from the ignition.
