Printer Configuration Menus
PRINT TEST FORMAT
Description: Use this menu item to initiate test sequences that print specific types of
labels to help you troubleshoot printing issues.
Accepted values:
• DARKNESS—Runs a repeated image in incrementing darkness levels.
• FIRSTDOTLOCATION—Identifies the first dot location and label top to assist you
with adjusting the position of the label.
• PRINTLINE—Initiates a test sequence.
• IMAGECOMPRESSION—Prints an image with lines and circles to assist with issues
regarding compression or stretching of an image.
• ELEMENTOUT—Prints a horizontal image designed to show if a printhead element
is not functioning.
SGD command used:
print.troubleshooting_label_choices (specifies the type of label)
print.troubleshooting_label_print (prints the label)
