9. When a confirmation dialog box appears, click Yes.
Before the firmware update begins, this dialog box appears. Take the
required action for your application. In this example, the upgrade
continues when OK is clicked.
When the update is complete, the Update Status dialog box indicates
that the update is complete.
10. Click OK.
11. Close the ControlFLASH software.
WARNING: Let the firmware update complete before you cycle power or
otherwise interrupt the update.
IMPORTANT If the firmware update is interrupted, the CompactLogix 5480 controller
reverts to boot firmware, that is, revision 1.xxx.
