Starting the Engine
10. When the engine starts, press the engine
speed button on the bottom display. The
engine should be running at 1300 RPM at
low idle.
11. For turbocharger lubrication, run the
engine at low idle for a few moments
before applying a load to the engine.
NOTE!
If the combi
ne fails to start and the
tachometer is displaying a three-
digit
number followed by an ā€œEā€ (---
E), there is a
problem with the engine control system.
Refer to the John Deere Technical manual
for more information.
NOTE!
The amber voltage light will
momentarily come on if the batteries are in
a low-
charged state and will stay on if the
combine electrical system voltage drops
below 10 volts.
