Removing
Affects Vehicles with Air Suspension
– Place vehicle on hoist, refer to
⇒ “4 Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels”, page 10 .
Affects All Vehicles
– Remove noise insulation, refer to ⇒ Rep. Gr. 50 .
– Support engine entirely with engine support bridge.
– Support 3.6L FSI engine with engine support bridge, refer to
⇒ page 20 .
– Support the 3.0L TFSI engine completely with engine support
bridge, refer to ⇒ Rep. Gr. 10 .
– Support 3.6L FSI engine with engine support bridge, refer to
⇒ page 21 .
– Support 3.0L TDI engine completely with engine support
bridge, refer to ⇒ page 22 .
– Remove the driveshaft from front final drive and tie it up, refer
to ⇒ Rep. Gr. 39 .
– Disconnect the connector -arrow- at Servotronic Solenoid
Valve - N119- .
