– Disconnect drive axle from rear final drive. Use Bits for Bits for
VAG1331/13 - 12mm - T10099- or Bits for Bits for
VAG1331/13 - 14mm - T10099/1- to loosen bolts -3-.
– Remove the bolt -2-.
– Hook the Tensioner Hooks (2 pc.) - VW552- in the upper
opening of the wheel housing -arrow A- and on the upper con‐
trol arm -arrow B-.
– Lightly pre-tension the upper control arm using Tensioner
Hooks (2 pc.) - VW552- .
– Where installed, remove the Engine Control Module 2 - J624-
-2- on the right side of the vehicle ⇒ Rep. Gr. 23 .
– Where installed, free up the oxygen sensor plug connector on
the right side of the vehicle.
