4.2.18 INPUT/OUTPUT CURRENT OUTPUT
Enter the parameters for the current output.
Parameters Description
Upper Range Value Enter the level for the 20mA current output.
Standard: 100%
IMPORTANT
If the level values exceed the upper limit value, the current out-
put can follow up to max. 20.8mA. This makes it easier to see
whether the measured value is greater than 100%.
Lower Range Value End Enter the level for the 4 mA current output.
Standard: 0%
IMPORTANT
In case of level values falling below the lower limit value, the cur-
rent output can follow up to max. 3.9mA. This makes it easier to
see whether the measured value is smaller than 0%.
Alarm Code Operating mode for the current output in case of error.
If an error is identified, the error relay is set to alarm and the current out-
put is set to a value, which can be defined here.
There are five different ways how the current output should respond to
errors:
Max: Hold at 22mA.
Min: Hold at 3.5mA.
Hold: Hold last measured value.
Value: Hold at a selected value between 3.5 and 22mA. The respective
value has to be entered in the ERROR VAL. dialog box (see below).
<Value, following Min./Max.: Hold at a selected value between 3.5 and
22mA. Enter the value in the ERROR VAL. dialog box. In case of
error, the Min/Max alarm relays follow the fault current.
