Stern and Swivel
Stern & Swivel Bracket

Install the stern bracket plate. Install the four
screws and tighten to a torque of 18 to 24 in.lbs.
(2 to 2.7 N·m).
Loosely install the anode and spray plate with two
upper screws.
Position the spray plate and install the two screws
in the bottom of the spray plate.
Tighten the upper screws to a torque of 15 to 23
ft.lbs. (20 to 23 N·m).
Tighten the bottom screws to a torque of 30 to 60
in.lbs. (4 to 6 N·m).
Install the spray plate cover with four screws.
Tighten the screws to a torque of 30 to 60 in.lbs.
(4 to 6 N·m).
Install the stern and swivel assembly on the boat.
Then install the engine on the stern and swivel
bracket assembly. Refer to Installation on p. 337.
