Frame Installation

Assemble the starboard lower exhaust cover to
the Starboard frame. Tighten the four screws to a
torque of 18 to 30 in. lbs. (2-3 N·m).
Place the starboard frame and starboard exhaust
housing cover on the starboard side of the out-
board. Align the frame with the groove in the
exhaust grommet.
Connect the tilt and trim connector. Assemble the
two Deutsch connectors to the bosses on inside of
the starboard frame. Place the starboard frame on
the outboard. Seat the frame in the groove of the
exhaust grommet.
Assemble the 17 frame screws, tighten to a torque
of 18 to 30 in. lbs. (2 to 3 N·m).
Assemble the gearcase oil reservoir to the inside
of the starboard frame. Use a #2 Posi-drive screw-
driver to tighten the self-tapping screws.
IMPORTANT: Turn self-tapping screws counter
clockwise to start the threads and clockwise to
