13.5 How to Modify an Existing Route
13.5.1 Parameters
The main parameters for route planning are:
• Latitude and longitude of the waypoint
• Channel limits to the waypoint
• Turning radius of the waypoint
• Maximum and minimum speed limits for a leg
13.5.2 How to change waypoint position
To change position of a waypoint, you have following alternatives:
• Enter latitude and longitude on the WPT page in the Plan Route dialog box.
• Enter distance and direction for next waypoint.
• Drag and drop waypoint using the left mouse button.
How to enter latitude and longitude in position field
1. Click Route in the information area then click the Plan button to open the Plan Route dialog box. Click the
WPT tab to open the WPT page.
2. Check Enable changes then select desired WPT. Put the cursor in the Lat or Lon field as appropriate, spin the
scrollwheel to set co-ordinates then push the scrollwheel to confirm.
How to enter distance and direction for next waypoint
The position of a waypoint can be defined using distance and direction between two waypoints.
1. Click Route in the information area then click the Plan button to open the Plan Route dialog box. Click the
WPT tab to open the WPT page.
2. Check Enable changes then highlight number of WPT with the cursor then push the left mouse button.
3. Click the Adjust after button, and the following dialog box appears.

4. Enter Direction and Distance in respective box in the Next WPT field then click the OK button.
