1. Copy the AIO permit file (Permit.txt) to a USB flash memory.
2. Set the USB flash memory to the USB port on the EC-1000C.
3. Open the Main menu then select Chart Menu and Chart Permits to show the Chart Permits dialog box.
4. At the Chart Permits dialog box, click the Load File button, select Drive E then use the Sub Dirs box to select
the folder where the Permit.txt file is stored.
5. At the Contents box, select Permit.txt then click the Load button.
6. Click the Close button on the Chart Permits dialog box to finish.
AP10.2.2 How to install the AIO data
If the AIO is not installed, do the following to install the AIO data.
1. Set the AIO data CD in the drive on the EC-1000C.
2. Open the Main menu, select Chart Menu, Load and Update Charts and "from CDROM" to start loading chart
data. When the loading is completed, the Load or Update Charts from loaded CDROM dialog box appears (see
step 3).
3. At the Load selectors area, check Name, Permit, Missing only and AIO (in the Navigation purpose window) then
click the Load button.
4. When the Load from CD or Load or Update pop-up window appears, click the OK button.
5. Installation of the charts begins. After the charts are installed, SENC conversion automatically begins.
6. After completion of SENC, the CD History dialog box appears. Click the X button to close the box.
7. The S57 message pop-up window appears; click the OK button to erase the pop-up message.
8. Click the X button to close the Load or Update Charts from Loaded CDROM dialog box.
9. The pop-up message "You can remove the CD from the CD drive" appears when the installation is completed.
Click the OK button to erase the pop-up message and quit the installation.
10. Remove the AIO data CD from the drive.
