29.3 Modes for Conning Display
The conning display shows data collected from different sensors and also data from ECDIS and Autopilot
processors. There are four different conning display modes; Harbour 1 mode, Harbour 2 mode, Navigate 1 mode and
Navigate 2 mode, and one of these modes may be selected from a dialog box. The parameters for each display mode
are selected during the installation, on the Installation parameters.
29.3.1 How to select mode for conning display
You may select the conning display mode from the Conning Display dialog box. Spin the scrollwheel to display
Menu/Info/Chart Menu in the mouse functions area, push the left mouse button, select Conning Display from the
menu, select conning display mode from the Conning mode list box then push the scrollwheel.
The conning display window appears in where
you can select desired conning mode.
29.3.2 How to select background color of conning display
You may select the background color for the conning display. Spin the scrollwheel to display Menu/Info/Chart
Menu in the mouse functions area, push the left mouse button, select Conning Display from the menu, select
conning display mode from the Background list box then push the scrollwheel.
Select the background color from the
Background list box.
29.3.3 Changing color palette of conning display
The conning display is using the same color palette as the ECDIS. When you change color palette of the ECDIS you
also change the palette of the conning display.
1. Spin the scrollwheel to show Chart Display/Info/Standard Display in the mouse functions area.
2. Push the left mouse button to show the Chart Display dialog box.
3. If the Chart page is not active, click an arrow tab in the dialog box several times to display it.
4. Select palette scheme from the Palette list box; spin the scrollwheel to select a palette and push the scrollwheel
to confirm.
