21.2 AIS Symbols on ECDIS
Below you can find symbols used for AIS in different status:
Sleeping AIS target
AIS dangerous target blinking Active AIS target Selected AIS target turning to port
red until acknowledged,
then it is displayed as red symbol.
AIS target turning starboard, ROT is ATON symbol Lost AIS target, red X-sign
measured by ROT gyro blinking above AIS symbol until
acknowledged
