AP10.3 How to Show, Hide the AIO
To show the AIO, do the following:
1. Open the Main menu then select Chart Display.
2. Click the ► button several times to show the AIO page.
3. Check Enable AIO to show the AIO.
4. At the AIO Objects window, check the AIO objects to
display.
To hide the AIO, uncheck Enable AIO. The AIO is hidden
regardless of the settings in the AIO Objects window.
AP10.4 AIO Examples
Temporary and Preliminary Notice to Mariners (T&P NMs)
Each NM is displayed as a simple red polygon with red hatched fill, which indicates the area affected by the NM.
Each NM has the same NM number that is used in the Admiralty Notices to Mariners Bulletin.
To find information about the NM, scrollwheel-click the NM area to show the Object by cell dialog box.
The full text of the NM is included in a text file, which you can display by selecting "textual description" from the
Properties window to show the TEXT VIEW window. Select the NM number desired from that window.
Some NM areas provide a diagram. "Pictorial description" is shown in the Properties window when a diagram is
available. You can zoom the diagram by putting the cursor in the diagram window and spinning the scrollwheel.
