First time activation
Sending request to C-Map:
To activate Dynamic licensing first time in ECDIS, proceed as follows:
1. Select Chart Menu -> C-Map Ed 3 -> Update charts -> Create Update e-mail to show the C-Map Chart Update
dialog box.
2. Check Activate dynamic licensing.
3. Select an e-mail size appropriate for your media the click Create.
4. In the Select drive window, select the drive where to store the dynamic license activation request file(s) and
click OK.
5. Verify that update order is successfully saved to selected drive.
6. Click OK and verify that the C-MAP Chart Update dialog is closed.
7. Send an e-mail to address
updates@c-map.no with the dynamic license activation request file(s) (update
order) as attachment.
