Modem Connections
If
you
have
chosen a point-to-point modem connection you
must
now decide
what
type
of
modem to get. As noted
in
figure 7-2, point-to-point
as
supported
by
the
terminal
always
employsasynchronous
transmission.
You
will thereforebe
limiting
your
choice
of
modemto
the
asynchronous variety. (Terminal option 022
incorpor~tes
a
datacomm
pod
adapter
in
the
terminal
which
enables
direct
connection to
an
HP
13265A modem.)

is
listed
in
table
7-2.
