multipoint
you
must
now

series
of
decisions

Before
starting,
it
is
necessary
for you to know several definitions
unique
to
multipoint
configurations:
Daisy
Chain
-A group
of
terminals
connected to a single modem is
said
to be
daisy
chained
because
they
are
connected
in
series.
First
Multipoint
Terminal
(or Cable) -
The
first
terminal
or
cable
in
a daisy-chained group,
starting
from
the
modem.
Daisy-Chain
Terminal
(or Cable) - Any
terminal
or
cable
in
a
daisy-chained
group,
other
than
the
first
one.
