show controller-date

Description Shows the system’s current date and time. Values are shown in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Syntax

show controller-date

Output Controller Date

Date and time in the format year-month-day hour:minutes:seconds.

Time-Zone Offset

The system’s time zone as an offset in hours and minutes from UTC. This is shown only if NTP is

enabled.

Example Show the date and time on a system that is using NTP:

# show controller-date

Controller Date: 2009-06-09 10:58:04

Time-Zone Offset: -6
