test
Description Sends a message to test event notification. After issuing this command, verify that the test message
reached the configured destinations.
Syntax
test notification|email|snmp
Parameters notification
Sends a test message to every interface that is configured to receive events, such as email, SNMP,
and SMI-S.
email|snmp
These options behave the same as the notification option and remain for backward compatibility
only.
Example Test email and SNMP notification of events:
# test notification
Success: Command completed successfully. - The test event was sent.
