show volume-names
Description Shows volume names and serial numbers. This reduced form of the show volumes command is
optimized for seeking basic volume information from a remote system.
Syntax
show volume-names [volumes]
Parameters volumes
Optional. Names or serial numbers of the volumes to show information about. For volume syntax,
see Command syntax on page 21. If this parameter is omitted, information is shown for all volumes.
Output Name
Name of the volume
Serial Number
Volume serial number
Example Show volume names and serial numbers:
