HP P2000 G3 MSA System CLI Reference Guide 93
export snapshot
Description Exports a replication snapshot on the local system to a new standard snapshot. The standard
snapshot will reside in the same snap pool, take a snapshot license, and be independent of the
replication snapshot. The standard snapshot can used like any other standard snapshot, and
changes to it will not affect the replication snapshot.
The standard snapshot is subject to the snap pool's deletion policies. If the snap pool reaches its
critical threshold, the snapshot may be deleted, even if it is mapped. If you want to preserve the
snapshot's data, you can create a standard volume from the snapshot; see the volumecopy
command.
The export command will not succeed if the replication snapshot is on a remote system or if the
resulting snapshot would exceed license limits.
