Interruption of charging
In the event of a fan malfunction or defect, any
charging process that is currently underway is
interrupted.
CAUTION
The battery still releases gas following an interrup-
tion of charging.
Open the battery hood to allow the battery gases to
escape from the battery compartment.
External factors may make it necessary to
manually interrupt the charging process.
DANGER
Disconnecting the bat
tery from the battery charger
during an ongoing char
ging process poses the risk
of serious personal i
njury and severe damage to
property. The sparks
generated by disconnecting
the battery may igni
te gases formed during the
charging process.
Always end the char
ging process first by shutting
off the external b
attery charger. Only then may the
battery be discon
nected from the battery charger.
Switch off the ex
ternal battery charger.
Disconnect the battery from the battery
charger.
NOTE
During normal operation, the charging pro-
cess must not be terminated before it is auto-

will be insufficiently charged and its available
capacity will be reduced accordingly.
