Towing
Towing
If the truck ever has to be towed in an emer-
gency, the multi-disc brake on the drive axle
can be released for this purpose.
WARNING
Risk of accident and risk of fatal injury! When the
multi-disc brake is released, the truck can no longer
be braked. The parking brake will not function
either.
To tow the truck, a towing vehicle with sufficient
tractive force and braking force for the unbraked
towed load is required. The truck may only be
towedusingafixedconnection(towingbar).
Towing procedure
Lower the load to a height at which the fork
arms will not scrape along the ground while
towing.
Remove the load.

the tow bar.
